On the 24th of March, I lost one of my dearest friend, Manu Dibango, who died of Covid-19. It’s not only a great loss for Africa, Manu was known all over the world, he is the first one who set up a type of African jazz. For me he was more than that, he was one of the only elder brother left in the African Music. We all have to go one day, that’s the fate of life, it’s part of the contract. No one can stay forever, but we keep memories in our heart and your music in our ears. Rest in peace my friend.
